At 9:16 on the same day, the HH-100 taxied and took off from the Xi'an Lantian General Airport. During the flight test, all systems and equipment of the aircraft worked normally, the aircraft attitude was stable, and the condition remained good, completing the scheduled flight subjects. At 9:25, the HH-100 landed smoothly, and the first flight was a complete success. The HH-100 commercial aviation unmanned transport system, which made its maiden flight, consists of an unmanned aerial vehicle platform and a command and control system (ground station). It has the characteristics of low cost, large tonnage, high payload, and national production. It adopts a rapid development model of "host + supplier + strategic partner". The aircraft has a maximum take-off weight of 2,000 kg, a payload of 700 kg, a full-load range of 520 km, a maximum cruising speed of 300 km/h, a maximum operating altitude of 5,000 meters, and a cargo hold volume of 4m³. The cabin capacity is regular, the tail door opens, and it will have the modular ability to be quickly disassembled and assembled in the future, which can effectively realize air-ground transport. The main application scenario is feeder logistics, which can be expanded to forest and grassland fire fighting, rescue material delivery, emergency relay communication, artificial weather modification and other application scenarios.
 
It is reported that the HH-100 commercial aviation unmanned transport system has been fully based on demand-based system engineering since the project was established, and has gone through four stages: demand and concept demonstration stage, preliminary design stage, detailed design stage, trial production and verification. During the development process, the development team faced challenges, guided by demand, and improved forward design capabilities; adhered to innovation-driven, and successively conquered a number of key core technologies such as autonomous flight control system design and high-reliability mission planning, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent development of the HH series of unmanned transport systems.
